Dr. Muna Al-Marzouqi is an Assistant Professor of maritime and commercial law at Qatar University’s College of Law. She received her LL.B from Qatar University, and a Masters in law from University of California, Berkeley. She obtained her doctorate degree (S.J.D.) in Maritime Law from Tulane University with a study on the contract of carriage of goods by sea, which examined the scope of application, carrier obligations, and liabilities. She teaches maritime law and commercial law at Qatar University College of Law. In 2017, Al-Marzouqi taught a course on Qatari Maritime Law at Qatari Emiri Naval Forces.
