International Relations of the Gulf

CIRS has published both English and Arabic versions of the “International Relations of the Gulf” Summary Report, which includes twelve synopses of the papers delivered at the two “International Relations of the Gulf working group” meetings in June 2008 and January 2009, as well as biographies of all the participants who took part in the initiative. The edited volume on The International Politics of the Persian Gulf has been published by Syracuse University Press in 2011. The International Relations of the Gulf research initiative explores critical issues in the Gulf region such as security strategies and foreign policy implications of political reforms in the Gulf region, questions of sovereignty and borders, American policy, and the foreign and security policies of Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other regional actors.
