CIRS Annual Report 2008-2009

The 2008-2009 CIRS Annual Report details all the activities and research initiatives conducted by CIRS over the past academic year. Some of the research highlights include features on the inaugural Postdoctoral and Senior Fellows, the Migrant Labor in the Gulf working group, and the forthcoming release of Innovation in Islam: Traditions and Contributions, edited by Mehran Kamrava and published by University of California Press. Other highlights include an exciting Public Affairs Program and lectures by Hanan Ashrawi, Nabih Berri, and Seyyed Hossein Nasr.
