Assistant Director of Operations and Research Support
Elizabeth Wanucha is the Assistant Director of Operations and Research Support at the Center for International and Regional Studies. She contributes to the strategic development of CIRS, the CIRS Undergraduate Research Advancement (CURA) program, and CIRS-organized Hiwaraat programs and initiatives, ensuring they are implemented and in alignment with GU-Q’s vision and strategic priorities. She oversees the management of C
IRS research projects, from project initiation to completion. In collaboration with the GU-Q student research office, she helps to promote and support undergraduate research activities. She also manages the departmental budget and oversees financial processes. Previously, she worked as an NGO Advisor in the Community and Youth Development Sector of the US Peace Corps in Armenia. She earned a Master of Arts in International Administration from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
