The Invasion of Iraq: Regional Reflections

Mohamed Noeman

Mohamed Noeman is a senior at Georgetown University in Qatar, majoring in International Politics. His research interests lay in public international law, international humanitarian law, human rights, lawfare, American foreign policy in the Middle East, Iranian foreign policy in the Middle East. Noeman is the GU-Q student spokesperson for this conference. He is currently the Head of Operations for GU-Q’s Model United Nations conferences. During the summer he worked with Professor of International Law Dr. Noha Aboueldahab where he worked on the histories of Arab diaspora activism and engagement with international law, transitional justice, and political change. Noeman will pursue a career in fields related to internal law and foreign services. He is planning on pursuing a master’s degree in public international law and a PhD in the same field.
