Zahra Babar Participates in Migration Policy Conference
As part of the “Enriching the Middle East’s Economic Future” Conference organized by MOFA/UCLA, Zahra Babar, Associate Director for Research at Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS), presented at the “Migration Policy, Bilateral or Multilateralism” Panel.
She argued that the primary challenge for sending countries is how to protect the rights of their citizens while they are at three different stages of the migration process – pre-departure, during their period of migration in a host state, and return and resettlement in their country of origin.
