Mehran Kamrava writes Foreword for Former Panaman Envoy’s New Book
Mehran Kamrava, Director of the Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS) at Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q), wrote the foreword for Former ambassador of Panama to Qatar Oreste Del Rio Sandoval’s new book Warriors in the Time of Sacrifice. The book was officially launched at the 30th Doha International Book Fair at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. In his preface, Kamrava says, “Oreste Del Rio Sandoval masterfully combines his expertise in diplomacy and academia to present a vivid and thorough picture of one of the most important countries in the Middle East.
